Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Sehrish Iqbal — recipe developer, home cook, and the person behind every word, photo, and printable on MealPrepBix.

I started this blog after my own messy meal prep journey. Like a lot of people, I used to throw away half my groceries every week, eat the same sad chicken-and-rice five days in a row, and wonder why “eating healthy” felt so expensive. So I started experimenting: cheaper proteins, smarter grocery lists, recipes that actually taste good on day four. Friends asked for my plans. Then their friends did. MealPrepBix was born.

Every recipe on this site is tested in my own kitchen, photographed by me, and written for one specific person: a busy adult who has about 90 minutes on a Sunday and a real-world grocery budget. I’m not a licensed nutritionist or chef — I’m a home cook who’s spent years figuring out what actually works, and I share what I learn here.
